What can you say about a filter? I have well water which is very hard, and contains a lot of sediments. I have a whole house filter, made by Watts, which takes this type of filter cartridge. The OEM Watts are quite a bit more expensive so I thought I would try these out. The price was good, even with the shipping costs. It fit perfectly, and seems to be doing it’s job. I have not noticed any drop in the water pressure, and no unusual smell or sediments from the tap. I need to change my filter every 4 – 6 months, and this filter will be more cost effective. Note, many of these filters are common sizes, so even if yours is not a “Culligan”, these filters may fit.

I really like these filters. Beautiful clean water and very easy to change. I originally bought the kit and I must say the faucet was very poor. After replacing it twice in a year and a half, I finally purchased a third party all metal faucet from Amazon. The reviewers of the kit have reported coming home to flooded kitchens. I was lucky. The first time I came home to water trickling around the top and running down the drain. The second time it broke in front of me – pop – and it was leaking above and below. I wasn’t even using it at the time. I shut the source off quickly and just had a small mess under sink. The problem is the valve is made of plastic and it splits. I don’t recommend the faucet, but Culligan got the filter right. That’s what they do.

Was a little frustrated at first because no matter what I tried it leaked right where the pipe from the wall and bracket meet. Followed the instructions and didn’t use pipe tape. It also says to hand tighten only. A quick call to Waterpik customer service solved the problem. Simply use bar soap and coat the threads of the bracket and pipe. I did use a wrench to gently tighten and no more leaks. Also had a little trouble removing the orange water flow restrictor but needle nose pliers solved that problem and I was able to pull it out.

I am not sure if it’s the sound of the injected air into the water stream or just the consistent even spray, but after experiencing this shower head at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, I just had to have one! I could stay in my shower all day long if I could! What I did do is extend my connection from the wall to ensure that the head was about 6 inches above my head – just like at the MGM Grand. Bought this Waterpik to replace one that I’d had for about 10 years. This one is just as easy to install, just screw on, no tools needed. The adjustment compared to the older versions is much easier to do as well. We like the adjustable neck because it stays in place and can be adjusted for a wide variety of heights. All in all a great value.

What can I say, I have a culligan faucet filter, which is fantastic, and now I picked this shower filter up, as our city water has lots of chlorine in it. Guess what….Not any More, and the walls of the shower have no mildew buildup since I’ve had it on either! This thing is great, no loss of pressure, easy to install on existing shower head, and it looks nice n’ clean too. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants cleaner water and doesn’t wanna spend a fortune on whole house filters and the such. Great product.

I’m not sure why everyone is pushing the 3101 adapter kit. Everything you need comes with the Waste King L-1001. I ripped out the old 3 bolt mounting system and installed the new EZ Mount that came with the L-1001. It’s installed, it lined up exactly as the old In-Sink-Erator 3 (Badger 1 Model) disposal, and works fine without having to buy anything extra.

It was suggested to me to get a shower chair before my recent knee surgery (which requires 6 weeks no weight bearing on crutches), which was great advice by the way. Also, someone told me that you could just go in the shower on crutches which is bad advise by the way, nearly slipped once when the rubber on the bottom of my crutches was wet and also standing and balancing on crutches requires additional energy than just standing in a shower. Especially great to have in the week following surgery when you are likely to be dizzy or tired (even if you if you are in good health, experienced with crutches, and have no issues with anastesia like myself). Purchased this particular one after reading reviews of others and also due to the price point (be aware that the local pharmacy had a a better price listed on their website on a model that they showed to have available in store, but at the local pharmacy the price was much higher). Showering 2 days after I was home from the hospital would not have been possible without this shower chair and was a huge step in allowing me to feel better post surgery. My second attemp to shower (4 days post surgery) I was having a fairly bad morning and for some reason got really weak and would have fallen on crutches if I had not had his to rest on in the shower and regain my composure. This was much bigger than I expected, despite reading it in the reviews on how large it was, but it still fit okay in my stall stand up shower. My husband put it together and it seemed to go together easily and quickly and we set it to the highest setting so that I could sit confortably and reach the soaps, etc that we store higher. Was kind of worried about the stability side to side due to some reviews of other problems with models like thia where the handles extend beyond the sides, but so far even entering and sitting on it from the side, this has not been an issue to me. I should also note that my husband moves it out of the shower when he is showering and never thinks about putting it back for me and showering is one time I like to have a little privacy and prefer not to have to call him in to move it back for me and so far it has not been difficult for me to grab it by the side handle and move it back into the shower while on crutches.

I’d tried several plastic drain strainers and had lost hope of finding one that worked. They might catch some hair, but then I’d pull them out of the drain to clean and find more hair there — and know, as the drain speed starting slowing, that yet more had gotten into the plumbing. To add insult to injury, the slow drain would cause water to accumulate during a shower and then the plastic strainers would FLOAT in the water, worthlessly.

This drain strainer is a little fine-mesh metal basket that catches everything AND stays in the drain rather than floating. I had my plumbing cleared just after I began using it, and a couple months later now I’ve seen no evidence of hair slipping under/through it or any hint of a slowing drain. I clean it after each use; it takes (literally) ten seconds to clear out the hair with a tissue and clean the strainer with soap while I wash my hands. Exceeded all expectations!
